My reaction:
Chapter 2 focuses on the two main characters Hazel and Augustus. What surprised me when I was reading yesterday is when Augustus talks with Hazel about basketball and the prizes he got. He said that most of the prizes are " cancer perks". people who give these prizes to kids with cancer think that these gifts will make them happy, but some kids might feel that they are different.
Excellent work distilling the information from the chapter into the plot events and the important details that support them. Including page numbers helps when you want to refer back to the text, and your citation looks great. I also thought it was surprising to hear an "inside" perspective on cancer perks. I had never thought of that before I read this book.
