When I was reading the chapter 5 today two things have grabbed my
attention.
First of all, “ That’s part of what I like about the book in some
ways. It portrays death truthfully. You die in the middle of your life, in the
middle of the sentence”(page 67). In one of my book reaction I said that I was
surprised that Hazel has read a book which has no ending million times, and
there was no clear explanation for why she is reading this book again and
again. However, after I read that quote, I could understand her viewpoint
toward reading that book which end in the middle of a sentence.
Secondly, “ Nothing to be gained by worrying
between now and then. And yet still I worried. I liked being a person. I wanted to keep at it”.(page 65)
This shows that despite Hazel's suffering and
pain, she will fight and will not give up.
I really liked this quote because people should live and think about the
moment that they are living in and stop worrying about the days that have not
come yet.
I am really impressed the second quotation. Even though I am not facing any harsh pain or death, I can encourage myself with that quotation.
ReplyDeleteThe first quote sounds deep and dark! but it is true though.
ReplyDeleteI like her reality when she said " yet still I worried" which means even though I should not worried because nothing deserve so, I am still a person! and I like being one!
wise quotes and great choices :)
I really like the second quote because I have the same belief. somtimes I like to be worried about somethings though it seems to be strange to like or have such feeling.
ReplyDeleteGood choice:) :)
I like the quote that you chose. I can use the quote as an example on my life if have pain, I could reduce it in some situations.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Waad in where Hazel will fight until the last moment and I think the end of story is happy. " I hope that "
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing two quotes. I really like second quote. I think those quotes will help me to live more strongly.
